The King of Sunday Morning by J B McCauley

McCauley KOSM 1

The King of Sunday Morning is a very contemporary read set in the toxic world of the dance music industry. It is very loosely based on the author's early experiences in the UK & Australian rave scene and an amalgamation of the characters and the tall tales he encountered along the way. It then journeys into a world of complete fiction where no one is what they seem and where success is measured in rates of survival.

It is the story of how one criminally connected DJ conspires to defeat London's gangland identities whilst hiding away from his past in Australia. In typical Aussie fashion it speaks of mate-ship, love and the desire to defend one's family at all costs. It cannot be effectively pigeon-holed but has been described as "Romeo and Juliet on Steroids". It is Underbelly meets Human Traffic meets Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. If you like gangsters, guns and dark humour in that vein you will love The King of Sunday Morning.
