Join us for a day to commemorate the centenary of the landing at Gallipoli through art, music and poetry.

Talk by Comissioned Artist Bob McRae
1.00pm–1.20pm

Bob McCrae will speak about ANZAC, a mixed-media artwork inspired by the poetry of John McCrae and John Keats, which will be on display.

Songs of Remembrance
1.30pm–2.00pm

Local folk musician and broadcaster John Broomhall will perform songs about the ANZACs.

A Poetry Response to War and Remembrance
2.00pm–3.30pm

Writers from the South coast Writers Centre perform poetry written in response to war, the fallen and the surviving, then and now. SCWC invites members and the wider public to submit a poem of up to 40 lines and an administration fee of $5 by 12 April. The winner will be invited to read on the day before the open mic section where everyone can share their poetry and responses to Bob McRae's painting.

Afternoon tea will be provided. All are welcome to this free event.
