Indigenous Writer in Residence Writing Consultation
Writers are invited to submit a 2,000 word story to be workshopped during a one hour consultation with SCWC’s Indigenous Writer in Residence, Jim Everett. To apply, submit your story and a 200 word paragraph on why you would like feedback. Two winners will be selected.
Jim Everett – puralia meenamatta was born at Flinders Island, Tasmania in 1942. Jim left primary school at 14 years to start work. His working life includes 13 years at sea and 40 years formal involvement in the Aboriginal Struggle. His written works include plays, political papers and short stories, and writings published in 10 major anthologies.
