Dreaming Inside Anthologies
The South Coast Writers Centre, in collaboration with the Black Wallaby Writers Group and the Junee Correctional Centre, has conducted workshops with indigenous inmates since 2012. Over three volumes, Dreaming Inside showcases a large collection of Aboriginal inmate writing, allowing insights into the writers' dreams, songs and reflections. Black Wallaby tutors and guest tutors accompany the inmates with poems and writings that shed further light on Aboriginal issues.
The anthologies aim to bring Indigenous voices from the inside, hoping to inspire writing on the outside.
