Wollongong Writers' Festival 2014 Wrap-Up
We had an amazing time at our events in collaboration with the Wollongong Writers Festival this month. Our inaugural event, Rock 'n' Rhyme, was completely booked out as well as most of our other events spread across the festival.
It was amazing to see such a diversity in our audience as people young and old, academic and more personal writers gathered to showcase their talent and support writing in the Illawarra.
Across the festival's 20 events, over 400 people attended, with people coming from as far as Brisbane to take part in the writing merriment. We will definitely continue to collaborate with the festival to bring writing to more people across the Illawarra and the south coast. It's such a cool thing that Wollongong has its own writing festival now!
Of course, if you have any feedback about the event, we would love to hear it! You can email director@southcoastwriters.org.au or call (02) 4228 0151.
You can also find the Wollongong Writers Festival on Facebook, Twitter and their website.
