International Women's Day Winners

by Martin Veres

The SCWC would like to send a brief and belated congratulations to the winners and runners up of our International Women’s Day writing competition last month on the theme of change.

The winner for the poetry section was Molly Lasker with an untitled piece; the runner up was SCWC’s Penny Bell with Grandmother’s Lament.

The prose prize was taken by SCWC’s Dianne Ellis with Becoming Invisible; the runner up was Katerina Samaras with Changing Buses.

Congratulations to all four of you, and thank you to everyone who entered into the competition. We’re thrilled that so many of you were ready to face the strange and write about ch-ch-changes.
