February at SCWC

by Martin Veres

In this month, when we are asked to demonstrate our romantic affections through conspicuous spending, we at the SCWC are dedicated to providing you with top notch literary entertainment at very little cost. Perfect for your post-Christmas financial recovery. Starting tomorrow, we've got a month full of Word Salad events, for the low, low cost of $5 (or free if you're an SCWC member).

Do note, however, that the venue for Word Salad has changed. It's now held at the Philanthropy Tribe Cafe, 151 Crown St, Wollongong.

Word Salad Enjoying and Reading Poetry

6.00 – 8.00pm, The Philanthropy Tribe Cafe

Facilitated by Ron Pretty

Let us, for a moment, lament the loss of the event name 'Poetry with Bite', but then buck right up and get excited for Word Salad's poetically-themed second Wednesday of the month! As is only appropriate given the serendipitous timing of the event, this night will focus on loooove poetry.
